Around Ladghar

The major attraction in Anjarle is the Kadyavarcha Ganpati temple with a rare "Ujwya Sondecha Ganpati". A Ganesh idol with its trunk turned towards right. There is a pond in front of the temple and a small but beautiful temple of Lord Shiva. The temple has a stone staircase to reach the top of the temple. A vantage point it offers a panoramic view of the blue sea, Suvarnadurg Fort and surrounding hills and is frequented by devotees and tourists alike

The Durga Devi temple right at the start of the way to the Maharshi Karve, Harnai beach is one of the most important temples in this part of Dapoli. The Durga Devi temple was built way back in the 18th century with Durga Devi as the presiding diety with a pyramid-like roof of terracotta tiles, along with a pond and a hanging temple bell to the left of the main entrance.

The Karde beach is a very broad and long beach and extends far upto Burundi and Murud Harnai on either sides. A Long walk over the rocky stretches from Ladghar will take you to Karde. You could also try riding your two wheeler along the beach to Karde during low tides if you have travelled by a two wheeler. Towards the southern side of Ladghar is Burundi and towards the north is Karde.
