This ancient fort is located near Anjanvel - 11 KM North of Guhagar beach, along the coast line near the Anjanvel Lighthouse. It is believed to be built at the start of 16th Century by the Siddis. It was captured by Shivaji Maharah in 1660. In ruins this fort is worth a visit if you have time. The view of the sea and the rocks from the bastions is quite fascinating.
