Nivati is approximately 400 Kms from Pune. There arent any direct trains from Pune with a stop at Sindhudurg or Sawantwadi so unless you travel to mumbai to catch a train road ways is the only means of transport to Nivati.

There are two routes from which you can choose to go to Nivati. You could either take the Gaganbawda ghat route or by pass Kolhapur and take the Kumbharli ghat to reach Chiplun and travel further ahead.

Pune - Satara - Umbraj (35 ms from Satara) - Chiplun - Kankavli - Kudal - Nivati
