Around Tondavali

There is lots to see in and around Malvan. The Sindhudurg fort in Malvan also a snorkeling site is the primary attraction in Malvan apart from the beaches. The adjoining taluka of Malvan, Devgad has the famous Kunkeshwar temple by the beach and the historic seafort Vijaydurg fort. To the south of Malvan is Vengurla rubbing shoulders with Goa with many more secluded beaches.

Backwaters of the Karli river between Tarkarli and Kudal opened up the opportunity for M.T.D.C to emulate the star attraction of a Kerala vacation right here in Maharashtra. In 2003 M.T.D.C launched the houseboats similar to the Kerala houseboats adding a golden feather to Tarkarli Tourism. A houseboat ride down the Karli river is now one of the unique attractions Tarkarli has to offer its patrons now!

Tarkarli beach is arguably one the most picturesque beaches amongst the Konkan Beaches. Tarkarli, a 8 km long beach extending from Malvan to Devbag with silvery white sands and sparkling clean waves is a beach lovers paradise.
