Around Karde

The major attraction in Anjarle is the Kadyavarcha Ganpati temple with a rare "Ujwya Sondecha Ganpati". A Ganesh idol with its trunk turned towards right. There is a pond in front of the temple and a small but beautiful temple of Lord Shiva. The temple has a stone staircase to reach the top of the temple. A vantage point it offers a panoramic view of the blue sea, Suvarnadurg Fort and surrounding hills and is frequented by devotees and tourists alike

The Durga Devi temple right at the start of the way to the Maharshi Karve, Harnai beach is one of the most important temples in this part of Dapoli. The Durga Devi temple was built way back in the 18th century with Durga Devi as the presiding diety with a pyramid-like roof of terracotta tiles, along with a pond and a hanging temple bell to the left of the main entrance.

Kelshi is a place of religious significance, besides having a long history. Kelshi Further north from Anjarle is frequented by pilgrims who come to the Mahalaxmi Temple and the Dargah of Yaqub Sarvari - a testimonial to Shivaji's secular outlook.

Just outside the village is a lovely beach, which stretches for 2.5 kms and the sunset here is lauded to be nothing less than spectacular.
