There is lots to see in and around Devbaug. The beach at the door step of Samsun Pride extends right uptil Malvan across Tarkarli beach. Tarkarli is a long stretch of beach which extends from Devbaug beach to its south to Malvan jetty to its north across Wayiri, Dandi beach etc. Due to the popularity of Tarkarli beach all these beaches are also considered as Tarkarli beach by the tourists! Apart from the beaches Sindhudurg fort, a well preserved sea fort which was built by Shivaji Maharaj is the prime attraction of this region.
Devbag is a tropical paradise with the Arabian sea on one side and the Karli river on the other. The patch of land between the sea and the river is hardly about 100 ft. The beach in Devbag is covered with silver white sand and Devbag sangam - the confluence of Karli river and the sea is amongst the most picturesque locations in Malvan. Its truely a precious occassion to watch the unison of the sea and the river on a starry night with only the Bhogwe mountains as witness.
Built between 1664-67 AD by Shivaji Maharaj, the Sindhudurg fort has it foundation laid on molten lead. One of the best preserved sea forts it has a four kms long rampart with 42 bastions. The fort is approachable from the Malvan pier by boat.

Just Behind the Malvan Police Station, half Kilometer away from Malvan jetty near the Arase Mahal is the Malvan Rock Gardens close to the beach. Malvan Rock Gardens is a beautifuly manicured garden located near the Chivla beach.
Located off the coast of Devbaug half a kilometer from the resort, Tsunami island is the hub of all the water sports activities in Tarkarli. Devbaug sangam where Karli backwaters meets the sea is one of the most picturesque spots in Malvan.
The Karli backwaters run parallel to the beach with Devbaug wedged between the two. A evening boat ride up the backwaters can be a relaxing and joyful experience.
Dhamapur Lake is located about 25 kms from Samsun Pride beach resort. Spread ove almost 19 acres Dhamapur Lake is a man-made lake which was constricted in 1530.
Located in Medha locality of Malvan near the rock gardens is the Jay Ganesh Temple. The temple is famous for its pure gold idol of the diety.
